I didnt watch the game, Just saw the box score and dont wanna sift through this thread. Was Rondo abusing Mo in the halfcourt or was he pushing it and scoring in transition?

A little of both, I would say more half court than transition. He just out quicked him a lot and beat him by a step. Moved Parker on him to start the third and though Rondo still beat Parker a few times, it wasn't nearly as bad as in the first half. I was watching the post game on TNT when Barkley and Weber basically got into an argument on whether or not the Celtics' bigs should be aggressive and use up their fouls on the Cav's bigs. Weber (who is a terrible commentator) thinks they should, while Barkley doesn't even think the Celtics have enough quality bigs to match up with the Cavs. Although I often disagree with Sir Charles he is right on this point. The Cavs front line is deeper and more talented than Boston's and should dominate when it comes to points in the paint, rebounds, and hard fouls. Speaking of hard fouls I loved Shaqs foul on Rhondo. That's what has to be done, make him think twice about driving in there all the time like he owns the paint.

I'm not goin anywhere. All I do is point to rational thinking in estimating what the Cavs are and what they aren't. Exactly what I thought when I saw the play. Had it been V with Shaq on the bench, it would have been a different story. I'm glad he did this. Actually, I bet a lot of the guys on the chatter have played competitive sports, which is probably the reason they are all saying that Shaq's foul sent a message and that it was apparent no one wanted any part of him. If you are so competitive and so certain that players don't second guess after a hard foul, then maybe you could call up the Cavs and see if they could use your services for practice one day - i'd be one to guarantee that if you drove on Shaq and he threw one of those bear arms at you that you would be in the fetal position on the floor. Not to mention, I highly doubt you would pop back up and get in a 7'0" 325 lb guy's face. You say someone would be nuts to hesitate to drive on Shaq after a hard foul, I say anyone with any intelligence at all would stay the hell out the Diesel's way.

Actually I played college football and after enough hits to suffer two herniated discs in my low back, i've become much wiser on what I come in contact with....Shaq Diesel would not be one of them
