Rubber game tonight at 7:05

Westbrook 0-2 5.82 vs Santana 1-2 4.73

The bats came alive last night.

Kearns has been a nice surprise.

A win would finish the road trip at 4-5...not too bad.

Go Tribe!!

Here's something I like.

At this point in the season, for that last few, we would have people, including myself, carping all over the place about Wedge. That's so nice NOT to hear. I have not read any negative comments about Acta, so far. Was I missing something in the Tribe game comments? I see that as a really good sign.

To be with the record that we have at this point in the season is really a good thing, IMHO.

Here's a file photo of Wedge being thrown out of Cleveland:

^^^that can't be Wedge. That turtle isn't sniffing & snorting like it just got some of Tony Montana's "finest."

3-3 after 6.

Jake was cruising, until Hunter took him deep for a 3 run shot.

It's because everyone knows the Indians suck this year.

It would be the equivalent to Indians fans bitching about Wedge in 2003. Nobody got on Wedge's case until the final week meltdown of 2005, and it snowballed from there.

Sucking when you should suck is acceptable (not fun, but what can you do?). Sucking when you shouldn't suck is not acceptable.

Acta has made plenty of dumb moves though. Ex. bringing in Joe Smith to this situation. He's been beat up his last 2 times out. No reason he should be pitching a tie game in the bottom of the 9th.

Gracious the Indians play well enough in a game or two to get me back (or a little closer) on board, then this. When will I ever learn?

How worthless are Sizemore, Hafner & Moon Pie right now? Averages are .190?

JP is a notoriously slow starter. That's not an excuse , but a fact. I think he'll heat up with the weather as usual. I think and have thought for a while that Hafner is done. Grady is puzzling.
