I'm sure thats exactly whats on their mind when they are being hit on by some young slut at a bar.

Cheating doesn't show anything other than a lack of willpower. To most people nowadays, an oath before God means just about nothing, because people know better.

It certainly does not but then again erasing the physical intimacy from a marriage is also damning to the value of said marriage.
Precisely. If the woman is all-too-willing to give it up for me pre-marriage and early on in the marriage...but then suddenly decides sex isn't fun or whatever anymore and closes the gates most of the time, wouldn't that be the same as me suddenly being like, "Why are you telling me about your day? I cared about that stuff back in the day, but have no interest in what's going on with your work...friends...and so on anymore."?

Completely agree. I think people lack commitment. You marry someone because you love being around that person, and you know they have your back through thick and thin, at least that is what I am looking for. The sex is just a bonus guys. lol.

haha. Well said. I know there are some cases where some women are just loony...but usually there is a reason why she isn't "in the mood." It may not always have to do with you, but try to be a little understanding.

I think my personal annoyance is when a guy cheats on a girl when she is pregnant. I mean really? Man up.

Bamagirl you are right, usually there is a reason woman are not in the mood, however when us guys ask what is wrong, we get the ever so popular response of "nothing is wrong" when we know damn well something is!

Having worked offshore, I can say it's not uncommon for women to cheat.

1 guy had 4 kids with his ex-wife. Got sick and came home 3 days early on a hitch and caught her fucking some dude. Turns out all 4 kids were the other dudes, they were fooling around on him every hitch for like 15 years.

Fuck a bitch.

My brother-in-law's brother is in the Air Force. He was sent to Iraq 3 years ago... He has been married to the same woman since he joined the military and they have 6 kids. When he was unpacking in Iraq, there was a letter in his bag from his wife that said she had been cheating on him for 2 years and "if" he returned home, the kids and her would not be there as they were moving to live with her new man... Talk about depression.

Ahhh but you know guys are just as guilty not saying what is really bothering them as well. Relationships are made to be wayyy more complicated then they acutally are. The whole line about communication really is true.

That is just beyond depressing. I know women are just as guilty as men. Personally, I don't get it...if you don't want to be with the person then end it. Instead, people choose to be immature and selfish.

It's human nature to fuck like animals. We are animals, yet we have designed the sanctity of marriage. You're stuck with one dick, or one vajayjay the rest of your life upon taking that plunge, or fear the wrath of God.

Some people are weak. Little arguments can set them into a four day sexcapade with random strangers. Some people let the frustration of sex or the lack-there-of build-up overtime and cheat. Regardless of what causes it, or why it happens...it's human nature. No one should be surprised by the action, and no one should have their sexual organs removed...that's for sure.

If I caught my wife cheating...I'd beat the shit out of the guy, kick her to the curb and move on...probably staying single realizing what I realize now. If she caught me, I'd expect nothing else.

The fact is, you aren't necessarily making a promise before God (some people don't believe in God)...you are making a commitment and promise to your wife.

My ex cheated a few times and I stuck it out for a few years to make sure my son knew who his dad was. It was not a very fun time, I stayed faithful through it all. I had women throwing the putang at me and declined because of the way I was brought up and taught. At times I wish I would have taken advantage of some situations but oh well the past is the past. It is nice though when random girls call you and want to meet you because your woman banged there man.

I'm looking and don't see where I said that people make an oath TO God.
Yep, I said before God. Know why?

Because in this country, most people get married in Church and not the Justice/Peace. And, since a church is the house of God, they are saying their vows before God.
Connecting any dots with that?

Yeah lets make an oath to some fictional being when it should be an oath to the person your marrying...what a crock of shit lol

you get married out of love and respect to your wife/husband...not because you are taking an oath to god to be with that person for forever. If you don't see yourself staying with him/her and being faithful and loving, don't get married simple as that. Has nothing to do with god

Durkies,

I would think that the people who didn't want God involved in any way would get married somewhere else besides a church by somebody else other than a preacher.


I explained my reasons for even bringing God into the topic, as the majority of people use a church to get married in.
My post wasn't meant to be a God/no God starter, and I'm pretty sure the OP didn't want it to be like that either.

Well, if you really believe in God, wouldn't everything be before God? Not just in a church, but everywhere, since God created everything.

I don't have much respect for cheaters. It's about character. I have had opportunities and passed. I've had hot and cold spots in my marraige. But cheating is about me more than it is about my spouse.

I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. I take my vow seriously...100%.

I read all the 1st page and all the 3rd page. If Im repeating something from page 2, sorry. I do fault the husband for cheating, what I havent heard is the entire story? Whats her deal? Either way, this sucks for the young kids.

There usually are 2 sides to a story.
