... With the game winner!!! C's go up 3-0 in the series!! Miami needed some shady officiating and a monster game from Wade to take it down to the wire. But the Captain comes through and THE TRUTH wins it

Probably a little too premature to talk about Nowitzki.

Haha you think that ..... C's are healthy, playing Defense like they know they can. Pierce is finally getting hot, Ray Allen is just off the charts right now and KG is 15-10 again & finally getting his legs under him.... I'l take the C's backcourt over the Cavs backcourt any day of the week

Looks like we will get the series we been looking forward to, Cavs vs. Celtics. Unless Chicago or Miami pulls off something crazy in their series.

Nah. They are more than capable of knocking off the Cavs. Though I don't see it happening.

Pierce deserves credit. That was a big-time shot that essentially secured the Celts a spot in the East semis. They're an old team, but if they sweep Miami (which is very likely as after losing this one, I can see them crumbling and not offering much resistance) and Chicago extends the Cavs (at least six games, if not seven), the next round could be interesting.

If the Cavs finish off Chicago in 5, like I expect, this potential series won't go past 6 games before the Cavs win.

Haha that's the story of the Celtics now: "We're really good when we're healthy"

They had their time two years ago. Now they're just too old and slow to hang with Cleveland for seven games. Now that KG isn't very effective anymore, I don't really see a position where they have an advantage over the Cavs.

Yeah, you're a C's fan. Of course you're not going to admit that Pierce is a bitch, KG is washed up and your team is just generally fucked in a matchup with the Cavs.

As for this game, Pierce was a hero because Miami is dumb. Not saying he couldn't have otherwise been a hero or that it wasn't a good shot (already said it was), but they never should have let him take the shot he did. They had a foul to give.

It is really surprising to me that Paul Pierce actually has fans. C's fan or not......I figured simple logic would take over and people would realize that he is a drama queen sissy.

The Cavs aren't super human by any means but they are probably the best team in the NBA and the odds on favorite to win that first elusive NBA Title. You have to always remember though, that until they actually win that Title, you can't call them "slugger". Go Cavs.

Ummmm isn't that the case with most teams? You're not going to see a injury depleted team in the playoffs and go far. And umm Rondo > Mo Williams ... Williams hasn't proved he can win in the playoffs and usually folds pretty quickly and plays no defense.... Wehn it comes to Centers Perkins has troubles with athletic Centers but more physical ones like Howard/Shaq he can handle his own pretty good and thats why Dwight Howard called Perkins the best guy that defends him. And if you're counting on Jamison over Pierce or KG in the playoffs you're sadly mistaken.... Now I have said the Cavs are the favorite to win the series but to simply say it's going to be easy couldn't be farther than the truth.

I would say most NBA players are drama queen sissy's ,not just P double. Maybe they should set him out for the fourth game so he can rest up for the rest of the payoffs.
