There have been a few threads about beer over the past couple days (one of my favorite topics), but I thought we could use one more discussing good craft beers as opposed to the macros like Bud and Miller/Coors. To answer the question in the other thread; "Do any other beers compete with Bud Light?", the answers is yes and I'll be drinking a few tonight that are miles beyond; Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Victory Hop Devil, and Great Lakes Eliot Ness.

Boris, The Hop Devil didn't do much for me. When I drink an IPA I want a hoppy kick to the mouth. Some IPA's that I like are Bell's Two hearted ale, Dogfishead 60 minute, and Modus Hoperandi (by Ska).

lol...I tried to drink that HopDevil Ale once....I would rather have a disease infested hooker piss in my mouth than drink that again.

Duvel is the best ... its Belgian, and the buzz makes you feel like you did a bong hit. Fantastic, and delicious:

I agree it's not my favorite IPA (love 60 minute and Two Hearted), but none the less I still think it's a decent beer just like most from Victory. And it's much better than Bud light.iclfan2 wrote: Boris, The Hop Devil didn't do much for me. When I drink an IPA I want a hoppy kick to the mouth. And at least half of the beers are made in America.

Shit's 10.5% alcohol as well... another Belgian one that tastes good and knocks on your ass like BAB's.

Had Bell's Two Hearted Ale the other night. It is Bell's IPA and I really enjoyed it.

Lot of people I know hate Red Stripe but I think it's a decent, smooth beer. Great with limestationrun wrote:![]()
