Seriously...if you can't afford to pay a moderate price for a Cy Young winner, than you should sell the team to someone who can.

I don't recall anyone in favor of the Lee trade. The Victor trade showed some promise...but not the Lee trade.newarkcatholicfan wrote:

The Lee trade was purely Dolan's wishes. Everyone knew it, even Shapiro. No one makes that trade without having the pressure from THE top guy.
