Trash talking is a part of the game, but only during the game. You have to use that to get inside your opponents heads. But you have to leave it on the court or you end up looking like a punk.

It's one thing to trash talk, its another to trash an entire city.

He played well tonight, but if you watched the game he got most his buckets because the Cavs rarely boxed him out. I don't expect him to have another game like that the rest of the series, or the next 2 games because they are getting LEBROOMED.

Anyone else notice he would scream/shout when other players made a layup?

So you are saying he is a distraction to winning games for the team? Should the coaching staff and/or ownership reel that in so he doesn't hurt his team? Would that happen if he played in C-town?
Yeah, its somewhat of a distraction. There is no need to add extra motivation for Cleveland players or their fans to come out in full force. There stupid comments that add nothing positively towards your teams main goal of winning the series.

He wouldn't make those comments in Cleveland and if he did LeBron/Brown would not let it happen again.

^^^i mean, if he wants all the press conference attention, complaining about calls, and whining about both officiating and crowd and opponent, he should have stuck to tennis like 'dadda'.

this is the NB of A, in the big ol' US of A, ...we don't care much for berets or croissants, and we only have room for two or three prima donnas per generation.

and he ain't one of 'em.

I hate Noah because of his Florida days but the dude is obviously a pretty damn good player. No, he isn't the focus of a teams defense and he isn't the best player on his team. He puts up pretty solid #s without having plays run for them and is smart on the floor. But those of you making it seem like what he did this year was easy is stupid. If not for his injury he would have led the NBA in rebounding.

I definitely don't see him as a 20/10 guy or anything like that but he's still a pretty heady player that I could see averaging a double double for a long time and I think he could fit on a winning team very well. He's also a very good passer. If Chicago can somehow lure Dwyane Wade there a core of Rose/Wade with Noah as another nice, nice piece would instantly make Chicago among the favorites to win the title.

If he kept his emotions in check a little bit better and was as heady off the floor as he is on it I think a lot of people would take the blinders off and realize he's actually a pretty good player.

He's a dumbfuck. He should know, he played against the Cavs in the Q tonight.
Midstate01 wrote: Noah played well tonight. He's not the smartest guy to be running his mouth while his team is down 0-2. But it's not his fault. He played out of his mInd tonight.
No he didn't. I'll give credit where it is due, he's become a pretty good ball player--much better than I expected. Guy clearly works hard. But if you thought he played a great game tonight you're paying too much attention to the box score. Like I said, I could score too if no one paid any attention to me. The Cavs gave them everything they got because they played like shit for most of the game. The Bulls had 4 TO's and 22 extra possessions, and still lost. Noah roamed free all night, he got those numbers because we let him. Our bigs were too worried about Rose's penetration. Which is why I kind of wish we'd go big and let LeBron cut that off--but clearly it just doesn't really matter.

A valid point? I'm sure plenty of people have taken a vacation to Cleveland. Clearly it isn't a huge tourist destination, but just because he has never heard it doesn't mean it isn't true.

There are plenty of places that aren't your typical vacation destinations that have plenty of stuff going on. He's simply trying to be a dick and just making completely pointless, off the wall comments to get his shots in because he knows they don't stand a chance in hell at winning the series.

Cleveland has a lot of things to do, if you're a person of intellect and not always worried about the club scene (which Cleveland actually does have it's fair share of as well..)

The Cleveland Orchestra is one of the best in North America and there is also the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.. A short drive from both Cedar Point and the NFL Hall of Fame.. You have the House of Blues, Playhouse Square, etc...

Not too mention the art scene and some of the great restaurants Cleveland has to offer..

As I said in a previous thread on this subject, the problem is NOT the City.. The problem is the POLITICS of the City..

So it makes sense to post a picture of him with some naked dime in the ocean and then say it's his mom? OMG! HILARIOUS! You're really doggin' the guy postin' a picture of him with a naked chick who is probably hotter than any chick you've ever been with.

Don't mind me, but I'm used to doing the educating; Noah is American of French, Swedish, and Cameroonian descent. His famous father is from France.

SQ, I think you're undermining his 'sucess' last night. Was it Cleveland not paying attention to him, or more effort on his part? I tend to choose the latter.
