I'd like to thank the banks. I'd really like to thank Chase for buying Bear Sterns so that there was a duplication in jobs and my husband and about everyone else in his group got let go. The Bear Sterns people got the jobs.

Except that the education system is based off of property tax.

That's why Dublin has a bitchin school and rural schools are having cutbacks.

Eh, not really. There are laws in place and the like saying that special education teachers need to be provided, they are fairly safe. Certainly safer than gym teachers, art and music teachers, and librarians.

Lots of stipulations on special education teachers and schools and needing to have them by law or funding requirements or whatever.

At least, that is what i've been told, just relaying what my brother and his fiancee have told me.

Special ed has more protections than other areas, i think.

I know there are protections in place. But chances are they are axing everything you mentioned already and you're included in it.
