Mr. T is looking good on the hill minus the homerun he gave up.
So far its the offense that is not doing their job, but this one is still early.

Nick Hagadone pitched last night for Kinston. He gave up 1 unearned run in 4 innings with 6 strikeouts.

That's 2 solid starts for him to start the season.

i saw that. with all the empty seats in the stadium, that bat flies right at you. so not only are the indians going to shit, they are making sure the fans go down with them.

Light hitting usually slick fielding Ron Rivas has two errors in the fourth allows Winston-Salem to score three runs making this one a 3-1 game after four.

Choo with an E on a play 7 year old little league players make 99% of the time allows the Sox to score a run making it a,3-2 Tribe lead.

OK you baseball gurus...without looking it up, I say the run is earned...even though the run probably doesn't score if Choo holds the runners at first and second.

What say you?

Well, I was out of the country for the first 5 games, so now I am getting back into the swing. As I type this, Choo makes the error but the Tribe escapes still ahead. Hammy says that Asdrubal is the best shortstop fielding we have seen since Omar. Yes and I wish we still had Omar, BUT enough of that and back to the game.

And to my brother who is a member of the 50 and over club, I say, respectfully, that the run is "unearned"....IMO, of course!

Well...just looked up the official box score, and they have ruled the run unearned. I would be willing to bet a six pack that that scoring ruling will be reversed.

The run is definately unearned. He wouldn't have scored without the error.

lol...I'll take that 6 pack bet.
