it wasnt until this year that it got any real attention in the NFL and they actually put the issue on the table and tried to come up with a plan. had the NFL not made it a big issue, no one would be talking about it right now in the NBA. oh and hey, 3 minutes of research shows the NBA has dealt with this before:

"The N.B.A. has not acted in this area since 1990, when the league fined the Lakers $25,000 for holding Magic Johnson and James Worthy out of a game. The Lakers were also fined in 1985 for the same reason. "

So why aren't they being fined now?

Because the league wised up and realized that you can't tell a franchise what to do with it's players. Dan Gilbert has millions of dollars riding on this...you think he's going to listen to the NBA anyways? I bet there would be a big old fuck off and another fine because of it.

I just wasn't sure if there was anything specific with Bron. I didn't think there was.
James- Rest
Bryant- avulsion fracture on his right index finger.

Let's be honest.

Kobe and Bron both sat for rest.

I wasn't saying Kobe sat for the injuries, I was just saying his injuries have been documented. I hadn't heard of anything specific for Bron.

If he wants to sit and rest that's up to him and the Cavs. Just as it is with Kobe and the Lakers. I don't agree with it, but I understand it.

Exactly. They both sat for rest. And rightfully so, they don't owe their fans SHIT in 4-5 meaningless regular season games.
