Cleveland in 5.

The Cavs almost beat these same Bulls, who desperately needed the W, AT Chicago just recently. This is with AV taking the last two shots.

I am not worried. These guys are professionals, its not single elimination. The rest will be off in 2 quarters.

The Cavs will put a man sized ass whippin' on the Bulls and fuckin' Joakim Noah imo. He's chirped a few too many times when it didn't matter. I don't care how good they've been playing lately...did you see who th Cavs had on the floor? I'm sure all those teams they've played who will be sitting home tomorrow really gave it their best shot too....right.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if LeBron played, they wouldn't have lost four in a row. I really wouldn't sweat it too much.

You might hate Noah, but he's been a beast lately and the Bulls have been hot since he came back. I think the Cavs will sweep, but the games will probably be really close.

The Cavs had only 1 or maybe 2 blowout wins in the last 5/6 weeks.

I think the Heat can really push the Celtics even though they lost all the games this year. I'd love to see Wade/LBJ in the second round.

West resolved a few of their seeds:
1. Los Angeles
2. Dallas
3. Utah OR Phoenix
4. Phoenix OR Denver
5. Utah OR Denver
6. Portland
7. San Antonio
8. Oklahoma City

Utah is playing Phoenix:
If Utah wins, it goes (3) Utah, (4) Denver, (5) Phoenix
If Phoenix wins, it's (3) Phoenix, (4) Utah, (5) Denver
I would be very surprised if the Celtics beat Miami. Celtics have been a 500 team since mid November.

The 1970 Knicks won the championship after losing their last 4 regular season games.

Suck on that one.

This didn't deserve a thread, but I have no idea where to put it.

Would all the DeJuan Blair haters please come out of hiding?? In Timmy's absence tonight, dude went for 27 and 23. I love that people thought/still think he won't be successful in this League. He is a monster on the glass and has no ACL's.

And I'll add, this was a game that actually mattered for both teams.

Someone should tell footwedge and clevelandbuck that Lebron and company didn't play the last 4 games...and that might have had something to do with the losses.

Sasha Vujacic---severe ankle sprain in last game of the season vs. Clips. X-Rays negative, but he's prolly out for the play-offs. Christ.

Wow, I saw where he sprained it, but figured it'd be a day-to-day thing..

Anyways, you guys always talked about him tearing his leg off, so you should be happy :)

It was a pretty bad sprain, one of those where you come down on someone else's foot and roll outward. It made me sick to my stomach seeing it with all my ankle problems.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't bear to see ankles going where they shouldn't. I still roll mine a couple times a year doing stupid shit like walking, have become quite proficient at catching myself. I see an ankle going on the tube and I have to turn away.

The Bulls can suck a dick. This will be payback for the Jordan years. I hope we blow them out the first 3 games and have LeBron hit a game winner in game 4 in Chicago over Noah...

That would be perfect.

Senior year in high school. Went up high weekside to tip one in at the rim. Landed on a guy's foot and went down. Was on crutches for 6 weeks and it hurt for 3 years.

Before my junior year: getting back on D, I was trailing a guy and stepped on the back of his foot in a summer open gym. Rolled my ankle out and it swelled to the size of a grapefruit. Couldn't put pressure on it for almost 4 months. Was on crutches for most of that time. A couple years later did virtually the same thing that Sasha did tonight. Put me out for 6 months and in a walking boot. And I did that one wearing a brace. Orthopedic surgeon wanted to surgery but told me I would have a scar from my ankle almost to my knee. He wanted to go in and basically lay open my leg. Those 2 stick out among probably 5-6 other bad sprains since my soph year of HS. And to this day, I refuse to wear my braces when I play.

Rolled over catching a steel baseball spike on the corner of home plate sliding into home, damn ankle swelled so bad it swallowed my shoe. Six weeks, still effed up today.

I would have given almost anything to have broken an ankle instead of the sprains I've had.
