It's almost upon us. Some real good races coming down to the wire. Atlanta and Boston for the 3/4 seed. Each of those teams playing the Bucks who are fighting with Miami. The Raptors and Bulls are fighting hard. Then out west, what a shit show. The last game of the season can possible mean 3-5 seed and 6-8 seed.

Would Cleveland rather play Boston in the second round or Atlanta? I would say Atlanta because the Celtics knows what it takes to win a title and have the same starting five from when they won it two years ago.

I honestly don't care.

As a fan, I'd rather play the Celtics.. I want the Cavs to put the final nail in their coffin.

I think you would rather play an old Celtics team rather than a young Hawks team that is looking to make a splash, so to speak.

I'm torn. Atlanta would be the easier route to the ECF's but it would be sweet to send the C's packing.

C's/ATL, doesn't matter. Either team is about the same level threat to us IMO. I'd love to see us kill the C's, but at the same time I wouldn't be upset to avoid the drama around them. But in all reality, it doesn't really matter. I don't think either one matches up well with us and they're about the same match up.

The Hawks are young and athletic and hungry. I wouldnt be surprised if the cavs took 6 or 7 games to beat them

I'd definitely want Boston just because I'd like Cleveland to send them packing. But we'll play who we play.

It will be interesting to see if Brown plays Shaq/LeBron Wednesday for the 20 minutes he is talking about.

LOL, that wasn't the question! But you know me well enough to know I'm not counting them out. Don't think they have anything for Cleveland though.

Could be a possibility.

The Hawks are up 1 1/2 on the Celtics for the #3 seed.

LAL may have caught a break though for their 1st round matchup. Could possibility be the Blazers now without Roy who tore his meniscus (sp) last night. Their down to OKC right now.

Well, I think the Cavs will catch a break in playing Toronto in the first series. Raptors should beat the Knicks at home....and I don't see the Bulls beating Boston at home AND beating Charlotte on the road.

I think Atlanta gets the 3 seed and I hope the Celtics win in the first round. I want the Cavs to knock those cocky fuggers out. Paybacks are bitches.

I'm trying to recall what I saw on Sportscenter earlier...right now, it goes: Cleveland, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Miami, Milwaukee, Charlotte, and Chicago??....The Bucks have been tough, I think I'd rather take my chances with Miami. (not if I were the Cavs; I'm playing from the Boston/Atlanta side)...maybe if you can win the first two games against Miami early, Wade will stop caring and start preparing for where he's going this Summer. I honestly think the Celtics would lose to Milwaukee.

No way in hell the Bucks beat the C's without Bogut. They're dead in the water no matter who they play in the 1st round.

Charlotte has been locked into the 7th seed for a few days now I believe.. I'd love to see Charlotte give Orlando a tough series.

And with the Thunders loss to Portland tonight, OKC is now locked into the 8th seed.

If I'm LA, I'm a little worried. OKC matches up pretty well and has the athletes to pose problems for LA.. Not too mention a HUGE mismatch at the PG position.

I still think LA will win in 6 though.

I think the Bucks could have won a round with Bogut, who was arguably the second best center in the league this year. They were playing pretty well after they got Salmons. I don't think they'd have really put too much of a scare into Cleveland in round two but they were a solid team.

If I'm LA, I'd have preferred SA in round one.

No way in hell I'd rather play SA in the 1st round. Give me the team with no experience rather than the team that's won 3 titles together.

The Spurs are too old. If you've watched the last two postseasons they've been ushered out in embarassing fashion by LA in 2008 and by Dallas last year. LA can handle Tim Duncan without a double team. That would be a quick series. On the other hand, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook might be the best duo in the NBA right now. Given the way LA is playing they might not be safe vs anyone.

The Spurs are just a little older than what the Lakers are, plus Kobe is looking like an old veteran with his play and numerous injuries.

PG: Parker 27 vs. Fisher 35
SG: Manu 32 vs. Kobe 31
SF: Jefferson 29 vs. Artest 30
PF: Duncan 33 vs. Odom 30
C: McDyess 35 vs. Gasol 29

Average starting lineup age: 31.2 SAS and 31.0 LAL

Both teams have young guys that come off the bench (Hill, Blair, Farmar, Brown etc). Bynum may be mentioned but he is as fragile as a 70 year old man.
