Update from last night:
Pens won 2-0 over Habs and the shocker of the night, the Sharks over the Wings 4-3 in OT.

Games tonight:
Game 3: Bruins at Flyers. Bruins up 2-0, just underway on Vs.

Game 3: Hawks at Canuck. 9:30pm, Series tied 1-1.

I expect the Flyers to find a way to win, although I can see the Bruins winning.
I also see the Hawks winning game 3.

Bruins with the empty netter off the TO.

Bruins will win 4-1 and take a huge 3-0 series lead.
Two big shockers of this round, Bruins and Sharks are 3-0 in their series.

First time in a long time that my Hawks have played a better 1st period than their opponent. Niemi is playing very well between the pipes.

2-1 Hawks midway thru the 3rd. Make that 3-1.
I'm hooked on this series.

They are banging tonight. I find myself enjoying the Canucks play :( at least its not Calgary.
3-2 Hawks and the Nucks get one back nearing the end of 2.

Hawks play a great, gritty game and win 5-2. They looked very good and it seemed like a complete role reversal from Game 1.
Hawks are up 2-1 now.

They 5th goal wasn't good. They can't push the goalie and the puck into the net. That goal shouldn't have been allowed.

Ehh, maybe, but the puck was in the net before the whistle blew, I believe.

It would not have mattered anyways.

Bruins are all but through to the ECF, but they need to win tomorrow night to get a few days for healing. They're pretty banged up. Now it sounds like Krejci has a broken wrist, and Sturm would need to get some sort of portable antibiotic IV for his hand if he was to play. Not to mention Tuukka needs a day off.

That said, I think the Flyers have basically mailed it in. When they didn't secure a strong lead in the early stages last night, they just lost it.

Sorry, meant to say Stuart. He still has a chance of coming back w/ the IV, Sturm is done w/ the ACL/MCL injury.

Big Buff moving back to forward on the top line has really rejuvenated the 'Hawks, especially physically.

Luongo might be an incredible first stop goalie, but he is trash when it comes to rebound control.
