Brad Stuart with the breakaway as the period expires, and he scores.
4-1 Wings
That is game in my view.

When the Yotes didnt score on the 5-3/ensuing PP it was pretty much game, set, match. The Stuart goal just iced it, imo.

Todd Bertuzzi just sealed it.
5-1 Wings 13:06 left.
Too bad, I thought this would be closer.

6-1 final. Great series.
A nice gesture by the fans to stay and salute their team. A great season for the Coyotes.

So, the West is set.
1. Sharks vs. 5 Wings
2. Hawks vs. 3. Canucks

Early predictions:
Sharks in 7
Hawks in 7

If the Wings play like that the rest of the way, they will very likely get back to the Finals. Dominated the play the entire game and never let Phoenix sniff anything. Howard was great and made the big saves when needed. The one goal they scored was a flukey one and there was little he could do since it happened so fast. The Stuart goal after the Wings killed the 5-3 was just a killer goal for the Coyotes and killed all of their momentum in a hurry. All 4 lines and the defense were great and made Phoenix look very pedestrian tonight.

Couple days off then out to San Jose on Thursday for game 1. Sharks are not as deep as the Wings and the Wings are much faster up front and could give the Sharks a lot of problems.

Hawks and Canucks could be a great series and will likely go 6 or 7.

My buddy and I have been trying to snag tickets, without paying a shit ton of money. So far, no luck.
We will probably just watch it down in Chinatown.
Should be a great game as every game in the series has been close.
I expect the Cps to win, but if Halak plays like he did in games 5 and 6, I see the Habs winning.

1-0 Montreal midway through the second period. Habs scored a late PP goal in the first period.

The Caps just can't seem to get anything going. Halak is playing lights out and thats all it takes is a hot goalie. Be an epic collapse if Washington can't get something started.

Montreal has had three power plays

Washington two

Game 7 at Washington, no way they're not going to end up with more chances

Caps better get something early in the period or they are toast.

I'm shocked at the way Washington is playing, I know they have goaltending issues and their defense is suspect at times but one would think that all that firepower would eventually prevail. Another shocker is that the Caps have only scored one PP goal this entire series and they were going at over a 25% clip in the regular season, tops in the league.

it won't end 1-0 though

the refs will give them a 5 on 3 if they have to, to give Washington a chance at home

Habs need to score again to really put the pressure on
