Senators looked like they were not ready to play early in the period. At the beginning of the period, Pittsburgh was out hustling and playing much more physical than Ottawa. As the period progressed, Ottawa improved their play, but the Penguins played better.

Pittsburgh needs to shoot the freaking puck more, it's frustrating to watch! You got a rookie goalie in the net for Ottawa who looks shaky at best. Fire some rubber at him!

Ottawa's going to get a 4 on 3 PP to start the second period, Staal got caught retaliating after he was slashed after the horn blew.

I think that each team should have got a penalty for the scuffle at the end of the period. Ottawa for slashing and Pittsburgh for the retaliation.

Ottawa starting to goon it up. Neil takes a penalty for a cheap shot on Malkin and Sutton boarded Dupuis fom behind in to the boards earlier and got away with it. The Sens getting frustrated and the Pens need to make them pay.
