Some of us Pirates fans thought Vinnie Chulk would get the last spot in our bullpen (a temporary spot to hold warm for Joel Hanrahan's return from his minor league rehab stint, but a spot nonetheless). After watching Hayden Penn, who got that spot because he's out of options, give up four runs in one inning yesterday, I was pissed Chulk didn't get it.

And then I saw this game's box score, where Chulk gave up eight runs in one-third of an inning. Talk about a bad damn day at the office! He'll have to be perfect for a good month or two to get his season stats respectable...assuming that after the game, he wasn't shot out of a cannon into the closest lake.

The show is called "Chuck's Last Call", so he definitely has his own show....

Probably being groomed to take over for Bruce haha..

I think it just started today, it was OK but most of the people calling were just trying to get a free tshirt.. Hopefully Bruce Drennan doesnt leave any time soon.

Santana will be a stud when he comes up, I really wish I woulda went and saw him when he was at Akron

Santana should be in the bigs already.

I know you don't want to bring up young guys too early but our catchers are pretty bad. Santana would be an upgrade.
