Either you open the clubface and change your stance or you try to keep your hands from releasing as late as possible.. either way, I don't see how you can hook the ball unless you're just doing it wrong.

I played a round with a professional. Their shots just sound different.

I don't believe for one second you played from the tips somewhere and shot whatever bullshit number you shot today. But if you need these websites to live your lies, then so be it.

Easy tiger. Tips at courses that we or in this case Zwick would play are a lot different than the tees tour pros play on a weekly basis. I don't think he was claiming to be a professional who has different sounding shots.

I love golf, but I'm that guy too...LMAO! Only at this one course that I drive by a lot though. And it's such a shitty course I can't believe people actually golf there--and they actually have leagues, with guys who think they're serious golfers. It's hilarious.

I played from the tips at Scarlet today and shot 78, feeling pretty good although I left some shots out there on the greens.

I have a tremendous respect for pros, even nationwide guys I watched last year at Scarlet. They did some nasty things to that course in awful weather.

EDIT: It has to be minimum $20 a hole. That's the least amount I play with people I like, let alone you.

Yeah, I'll agree with this statement... But I also agree with everything on this thread. WAY too many people think they can hang.

However, you have that in ANY sport. Ever hear people talk about, "If I would have done this in high school, I could have played in college/made the pros. Whether it's football, basketball, baseball, golf... you hear it EVERYWHERE about EVERYTHING.

Bottom line... people are just stupid.

If you really think i'm lying cuz I say can go low on muni courses I've played since I was 7 years old..and wanna call me out on it.. that's fine. But don't begrudge me for defending myself.

Yeah that's the point of this thread. People think they can play like the pros when they don't have an idea of how rare of a talent they are. I consider myself a good amateur golfer in Stark County. There's a dozen other amateurs in Stark County that I can't beat on my best days.. let alone a PGA Tour pro, but some guy I'm beating by 12 strokes on 9 thinks he can play with pro's of he practices more... It just blows my mind how you can even think that way lol.

You've never played Riceland in Orrville have you? It's not even 6300 yards from the tips. Thats 400 yards shorter than the member tees at The Quarry, and 700 yards shorter than from the tips.

I've driven by it and don't remember seeing any elevation changes that would warrant a 381 yard drive. If I shake the current case of the shanks I have we can meet up sometime, Zoar is ok but hasn't been the same since the owner passed away. Play most of our rounds at Oak Shadows.
