Windy is hardly more critical than not...

But I do agree, if Windy said it there is certainly something behind it.

Either way, I told you all he was coming back 2 years ago.

I mean, I didn't think I was going out on a limb two years ago--but with all the hype around this, I'd say A LOT of people would say I did go out on a limb saying this that long ago.

Bullshit. There is NO homer in Windy what so ever. After every win he'll find something wrong or talk about how the Cavs didn't run their offense or defense as effectively or just something else.. This is no fault, because I love it.

Especially if the Cavs are losing or even winning but playing "sloppy" during his in-game blogs, it can sometimes get kind of hilarious. He loves to break down the game and does so in a very pessimistic way.

There is no homer in the Cavs beat writer...lol, right.

I know how he writes, and to say that he's more critical than not is wrong.

No, you're wrong.

lol, go on RCF and make those claims. Everybody loves Windy, but he is definitely more pessimistic about the Cavs than he is "homerish"..

To say otherwise is foolish. Quite frankly, the proof is in the writings, so there is no point in me arguing otherwise.

I'm not saying he's a big homer either--but he isn't that pessimistic either.

But you're right, the proof is in the writing.

Tell me how long you have to look before you find something pessimistic. When we lose or something, he might tell it like it is but he isn't really pessimistic.

The biggest reason he's such a great beat writer and one of the best in the NBA is because he isn't a homer nor is he a hater. He just calls it like he sees it 90% of the time.

He definitely doesn't go out of his way to say anything bad about the Cavs, but he will go out of his way to give them support.

Id love to be a beat writer for my fav team.

It would be difficult though to be able to do the balancing act. Could be diff to criticize a player and then have to go talk to him the next day. For this to work you gotta be fair about it and not pile on.

I doubt that LeBron will ever sign a big long term deal with any team. It makes more sense for him to sign a bunch of three year deals than to sign one deal for 8 years and 140 million.

Agree, if he ever signs a long deal it will be towards the end of his career IMO.

I think the '03 draft class will do this through their whole career. The stars anyways. And it will change the way things go with contracts in the NBA. It makes WAY more sense to me than signing long deals, I would do the same thing.

SQ, anything on PDcavsinsider the past couple days hasn't been Windy. He took a mini vacation so some check is tweeting.

Windy is very critical of the Cavs, I think he knows how good this team is but he does a great job of breaking down the things that Cleveland isn't doing correctly.

Also, no one is whining. This is going to be one of the top sports stories this summer and articles like this will start to pop up especially as Cleveland progresses through the playoffs.

LOL, I'm well aware that someone was tweeting for him. Like I said, tell me how far you have to read back to find something negative or pessimistic.

Says LeBron shooting the 3 was odd and that he had a bad last minute. Tweeted about the Cavs missed FT's

Not too much negative things you could say about the Raptors victory, probably some of the best team ball we played recently. So its going to take you some time before you reach a negative tweet.

Also said "Ray Allen hits 3 to put Celtics up 4 with 47.5 left. That's on LeBron, he left Allen to freelance to try for steal".

I am surprised that he didn't demand a trade after that horrible, horrible loss to Boston in October.

Again, tell me how FAR you have to read back. I'm not talking about the last few days dumbass.

And what he said about LeBron wasn't pessimistic or negative. Like I said, sometimes after a loss he'll tell it like it is--but that isn't pessimism or negativity. The pessimist would have said, "LeBron takes shots like that at the end of games, that is why we won't win a title--because we're Cleveland and something always goes wrong." The negative mind would have said, "LeBron, you're an idiot for taking that shot. You could have got to the rack easily, you're a moron and we're not going to win a title until you pull your head out of your ass."

Windy said just told it like it was. It was odd, though I get why LeBron did it--but when he has a lane like that to the rim he will nearly always take it. And he did have a bad last minute.

Again, not negative or pessimistic, that's exactly what happened.

Don't I always get made fun of around here for going to KSU and not OSU? :P

I forgot no one can be right when arguing with the knowitall SQ.

Its a tweet to start with, from a respectable journalist who isn't going to use that language.

I suppose we disagree. I don't think many people will be tipping their cap to you for saying that LBJ would come back 2 years ago. Most Cav fans on here have felt that way too.
