I mentioned this on the Cavs/Raptors thread yesterday. I think he stays but Triv is a buffoon.

Yeah, we were discussing this on the Raptors thread.

I don't believe what the guy has said especially the part where Bron will leave after the next contract is up, but I do believe that LeBron has already made up his mind on staying with Cleveland for a 3 year deal. This contract will give LeBron the opportunity to once again evaluate his options while being in the prime of his career.

The Cleveland front office is one of, if not, the best in the business right now. They haven't made a bad move in quite some time now. Jamison is working, Shaq is working and will work against Howard, Mo turned out nicely, West has been great for Cleveland, the selection of JJ may turn out to be the best pick up outside of LeBron in a long time for the Cavaliers. The list goes on and currently you cannot find a GM and owner combination that has done more for their team than Gilbert and Ferry.

And its the dedication to winning from the top management that will keep LeBron. They have done everything right and basically everything that LeBron has asked for.

Cleveland as a team will be very talented for years to come. They have young talent in JJ and Green (who they believe will be a rotation player soon) along with experienced players that are still in their good years including Mo, AV, West, Gibson, Williams etc.

Also, don't think that Gilbert and Ferry will let other teams make their offers to LeBron without doing anything. They have been putting time into possibly making another big move via the trade route along with the MLE.

Not sure Triv has anything, but I personally do think he already knows he's coming back.

Nope, you don't have to click on the thread that is obviously about LeBron and whether he is staying or leaving.

So tip #1, if you don't want to read about this topic don't click on the thread.

If Lebron is smart, He leaves that stink hole of a city and goes to New York. He made the claim that he wanted to make a billion dollars before he's through. He wont do that in Clownland. Plus, I'll be able to root for him to win a title which is something that I cant do as long as he plays for Clownland.

How often has it come up on message boards, espn, tv, radio, print about him leaving the last few years?

Happens all the flippin time.

If he is gonna go....then go already.

As for this source......I dont buy it. I dont think TKFA has already made a decision he is gonna leave after one more contract. He ll probably make that decision later.

oh, btw...its Mr. Douchebag to you.

The ultimate most priceless thing that could happen would be Pittsburgh getting an expansion team next season and Lebron signs with them. He goes to the City of Champions where he belongs and racks up title after title. That would be awesome!!! hahaha

I have somewhat of a theory. He has said that he will win a championship for Cleveland. I dont know why, but this just makes me think after he wins one he will be gone. Now if the Cavs roster gets any worse than it is now in coming years, and for some reason they dont win one, i still think he will end up leaving. Hope I am wrong though!

If he resigns and gets a championship(s) for Cleveland, I don't give a rat's WHAT he does when the next contract expires. If he leaves, sobeit. We got the championships and he's well on his way to being the GOAT.

I dont follow the NBA as much as some on here, but I believe that this team this year is the best chance LeBron will have to win a title in Cleveland.

If they do not win, I believe he will very much consider leaving this summer. But when it comes down to it I think he signs a 3 year extension to give it one more try.

All I want is a championship. I'm not greedy. Someone has got to pop this cherry and end this draught for Cleveland sports. I've seen too many "close but no cigars" and "almosts" in my lifetime. Time for our day in the sun and if it's only once with LBJ, oh well.

Guys, Triv broke this story a day after Brian Windhorst, who we all know is a great beat writer and is usually more so critical on the Cavs than not, said he's never been more sure that LBJ is going to stay than he is now.

Windhorst WOULD NOT say something like that unless he really was sure. I believe he said it on one his latest podcasts (on Tuesday I believe)

There was a thread about it on RCF, but some people wen so far off track with it that the Mods closed it.. You can still view it though.
