I don't listen to him either. That means I don't know if he hates women. If I did listen to him, I don't know if I could discern that.
You might want to look up the demographics on who likes Rush Limbaugh. In general, women can't stand him. They can't stand him for reasons other than he smokes cigars.
I disagree with alot of people who don't think like me, that doesn't make me a bigot. It makes me opinionated.
I listened to him quite religiously for about 3 years when he first hit the airways. I think he's a huge bigot. And I base it on what I heard. Cutting him some huuuuge slack, he is at the very least, a race baiter. He shares condenscending views towards blacks virtually every day. As a white guy, I can tell you he was quite offensive.
Also, are you really saying that you believe he is a racist because who he wanted to win, didn't? I think that Rush would have never wanted a democrat to win, no matter who it was, so I don't think skin color entered the equation. For all we know, he might have said the same thing about Hillary Clinton or John Kerry - would he still be racist?
I can agree with you here on this point. Make no mistake about it, he would have railed just as hard had HillBill won. But it doesn't help your reputation as a bigot, whenever one plays "Barack the Magic Negro" on his show for days...just sayin.
Where I believe he was stupid was the "hope to fail" comment. To me, that was stupid, not racist.
I'm not going to throw highly charged names at him anymore than I have Obama.
And I think it's high-time that everybody just stopped with the name tossing.
Rush Limbaugh makes a large living in name calling. Any name calling he gets in return is apropos.
