Boobie always seem to have foot issues.. Seriously, like every season.

Last season really killed him because he struggled with a foot injury all year.

FYI....supposedly Triv has stated that according to "one of his sources inside the Cavs organization" Lebron will re-sign with the Cavs for between 3-5 years. This is Triv so take it fwiw.

I have stated, along with many others, that Bron will sign a 3 year deal with Cleveland.

But I'll wait to here from Lebron himself lol.

I think it will be three years also. That way, if management screws the pooch, he can move on while still in his prime.

Exactly, he isn't stupid.

Cleveland gives him the best opportunity to win now. But if they cannot do that within those 3 years, then he'll be heading out.

The 3 year deal is just correct for all parties.

I truly believe that Ferry and Gilbert have put together a team that can win the championship, now its up to Bron and Co. to get the job done.

Another 3 years gives the FO time o continue putting a winning franchise on the floor and will give Bron the opportunity to leave while still being in his prime if the situation turns bad. But the way Ferry and Gilbert have been operating things I don't see a drop off in great pick ups and moves in the future. JJ is looking like a great find in the middle of the 1st round, Jamison has been a great move along with picking up West, Williams, and Shaq along the way.

There are few, if any, better FO's than what Cleveland has right now imo.

I suspect they'll need to deal for a big to replace Shaq/Z, other than that I don't see a ton of need. The question will be who stays/goes and do they need a high priced guy (will they have enough money) or a couple average/above average bigs to fill the void. Depending on how the post season goes, I could see Z/Shaq for another one year deals-Z is good through next spring right?

How does that work? I mean isn't there a certain percentage pay cut that they can take?....I am probably wrong though.

I think Shaq can sign for as low as the vets minimum. Could be wrong, but I know for sure the Cavs could use some of the MLE to re-sign Shaq if they needed too.

If LeBron comes back they will probably want to sign and trade Shaq to try and get one of the other max free agents.

Cavs have proven that they can win without Shaq and Z. Not worried about the bigs situation. JJ, Andy and daddy Leon can do a fine job.

I agree, but Shaq is only here for certain situations.....Howard and maybe Bynum(although he hasn't really improved like many thought he would)

Shaq, if he was in game shape, could sit the bench until Cleveland plays Orlando and I'd be fine with it. But Cleveland needs him against Howard down low.

I hope that Cleveland can buy their way into the 1st round in the draft this year. This will be a crazy deep draft and we can wait further down the road to talk who should target bigs.
