Gibson was injured tonight...right foot contusion....I think the injury was actually having too many blisters on his ass.

Where did you hear he was injured?

He wasn't on the injury report with West, Telfair, and Shaq.

My daughter said that she heard this on the Cav radio post game show.

They didn't talk about it at all during the game and they were talking about injuries several times throughout tonight.

And I'm pretty sure if a player is out due to injury, it has to be reported. Similar to the NFL's report that comes out on like Thursdays or Fridays.

Bucks got a huge win against Chicago.

It will be interesting to see who the Cavs end up playing.

I just hope that Boston stays at the #4 spot.

As I said in the other thread, I'm not sure I want to play Boston. I think we'd end them easily, but that would be a shitshow. I don't want to see anything stupid happen and yes, I honestly believe that the C's could meltdown THAT badly.

I think LeBron and Co. want to be the team to end the Celtics run.

The Celtics don't have a stopper for LeBron, he has score 30+ on them every game this season. They just don't have the weapons and legs to slow LeBron and not let the other Cavs get theirs.

Oh I'd put my money on 4 games, seriously. But I think the C's could have an epic meltdown and some stupid shit could happen.

Ehh, there might be T's and KG/Wallace getting tossed but I am not worried about any injuries or such.

I'd say 5 games since the Celtics will have one of those nights.

Cavs just lost the Guiness World record to the Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels for largest gathering of people wearing snuggies. Crowd was excited until the second after they broke it. Sort of ho-hum after it was broken.

If you attended the game you would have been treated to hearing my daughter and other gifted singers from her high school sing the national anthem. Quite an experience for a small rural high school to perform in front of so many and get to see some of the players up close. They were surprised Lebron responded with some nice words when some called out to him when they were on the floor. They did have one small complaint. No free food. Hopefully they gave a nice donation to the school's program for gifted singers.

Ready for the playoffs to get started. Only time I really get involved on Pro hoops.

In my opinion, whether the Celtics and their fans wish to admit it or not, Orlando ended their run last year. They're an old team that has a peak of "FIRST ROUND WINNER" right now. They started out great, but have been around .500 since that great start. With some veteran teams, you can say "they're just waiting for the playoffs to turn it on", but with this team, I think it's more "too many guys who ain't what they used to be".

Dr. Richard Parker and Cavs athletic trainer Max Benton went out and watched Varejao's pregame workout and gave him the OK to play.

On the night he returned, however, guards Delonte West and Daniel Gibson sat out.

West was held out with back spasms, while Gibson had a mid-foot contusion.

Mike Brown stated on the TV post game show that he held out Gibson for precautionary reasons....regarding his foot. Go to Cavs.com for his quote on the subject.

So..it was a "coaches decision", but was besed on Gibson having an injury.

Either way, Gibson will get some minutes coming up if his foot is alright.

But Cleveland has more options with other guys on the court, Gibson will have a nice game or two in the playoffs though.
