Nothing is wrong with him, he's a good player. But Pujols has plenty of years left in him and he's definitely the best in the game right now.

He might be more fun to watch, but does that make him the better player? No.
Though it may be arguable whether or not he's the better player, he is more fun to watch and as a new franchise owner, entertainment is my main priority as it fills the seats.
