You guys would really start a franchise with a fat ass rapist quarterback? Wow!

MLB - Hanley Ramirez.....Albert is great and only (we think) 31, but Hanley is just a stud and when he gets out of south Florida, the world will understand.

NBA - Lebron...Not real close here....runner up would be Dwight Howard

NFL - Toughest one to choose... Have to probably go Matt Ryan. Young and fairly proven QB. AP and Chris Johnson would have to be considered but the shelf life on running backs is very, very short. You would also have to consider guys such as Micheal Oher, Joe Thomas, and Ryan Clady. And right now, it would be very hard to pass on Darrelle Revis.

If you're starting a franchise, you want to win TODAY....if that's the case you've gotta go with Peyton Manning....he may not be around in 3 years, but you'd be a lot better off than most other new franchises have ever started out.

Honestly, LeBron and Pujols should be unanimous. There are haters of course. NFL is a bit different, but I'm not sure who I'd take right now. Aaron Rogers maybe? I don't know, there are a lot of good young players but none have really established themselves over the older guys yet. Hard to want to take an older guy to start a franchise with.

I don't think Pujols is unanimous nor should he be. Hanley Ramirez is a player.

Pujols is the best hitter in the game, but you can find first basemen with good bats everywhere. Mauer would be my choice. Obviously LeBron in the NBA. The NFL is tough. You need a QB to win consistently, but the young QBs in the league leave a lot to be desired. If Roethlisberger wasn't a piece of shit human being, he might have to be the pick. He might have to be anyway.

MLB: Zach Greinke. If he played for a team like the yankees he'd probably win 25 games a year but with KC's offense he still gets by.
NFL: Normally I'd say manning but hes closer to the end than the beginning. I'll go with Brees.

Well if I'm starting a franchise, my first priority is to make some money to catch up on some big time debts. So I have to pick the big name players to fill the seats over the younger, most promising prospects.

NBA- LeBron
MLB- Jeter
NFL- Manning

I'll throw in hockey too:
NHL- Ovechkin. I could go Crosby, but Ovechkin is more fun to watch imo.

I can't see starting a franchise with a pitcher. Pitching is very important, hell I was a pitcher when I played, but I'd rather use that first pick on a guy who will play everyday.

Whats wrong with Hanley Ramirez? Plays one of the most important defensive positions, bats for average as well as power, has speed and youth(only 3 years, but still)
