By far the greatest sporting even I've ever had the pleasure of attending. I doubt it will ever be topped, either. It simply meant too much. The stakes were win, or failure. Certainly not failure in terms of what Duke's kids accomplished, but failure in the eyes of the rest of the country.

Duke stepped up and finished business. They are the 2010 National Champions. I can't say that enough.

If only the end of college basketball season were this sweet every year. Sadly, however, in four or five years, the same "arguments" that were present against Duke before this Tournament will be back if the Blue Devils have not won a title by then. But that's life at Duke.

Duke and Carolina have now each won two titles since 2001. THIS is why Duke-Carolina is the best rivalry in college sport and perhaps all of sport in this country. Although, I certainly have no problem with anyone ranking Sox-Yankees above it. But that's it.

congrats to Duke. You earned it! You took down the pac 10 champs, an excellent baylor team, and an excellent wv team. you proved all along that you were one of the elite's. let the haters hate. Butler put up a great effort and was a great perimeter defending team, probably the best duke saw all year.

Nike had a nice tribute to Duke in Sports Illustrated today. This version of the ad is blue, but it appears in white with blue lettering in today's SI issue.
