Big surprise. Baker uses Miguel 'I didn't know he was still in baseball' Cairo to pinch hit for Harang. I understand why he is on the team, but I cannot figure out what Baker is doing using him in that situation. He's defensive help, nothing more.
And now, here comes Mike Lincoln. We know Pete bet on the Reds when he was manager, but I'm thinking Baker is betting against them.

Yeah I didn't understand the Cairo move either haha. The guy has never been a good hitter and he is the 1st guy off the bench? I was hoping Stubbs would pinch hit and then stay in the game defensively with Nix taking a seat.

Lincoln sucks.
Can we please get a lineup that includes Gomes and Stubbs on an everyday basis? I don't know how you guys feel about Gomes, but I really like him. I know he can at least get the ball out of the infield.

BCBulldog, remember our conversation about Lincoln in the "Reds Opening Day Roster" thread haha. Upon further review he is still among the worst pitchers in the league.

This is going to be my 3rd season of 25+ games I'll go to. Mike Lincoln is flat out not a big league pitcher. The guy got booed leaving the game on Opening Day.

How the fuck did Lincoln even make the roster? I get that guys like Burton and Fisher might not be elite-level middle relievers, but Lincoln is HORRIBLE!

I have heard late July-early August for Volquez. He has already started throwing and he says he feels good
