Seven players are within two strokes of the lead to begin the third round.

An impressive leaderboard and backdrop for this Saturday afternoon at Augusta.

There's Tom Watson. At age 60, trying to contend for yet another Major championship.

He's five back at -3.

Fred Couples fought through some back issues and tougher course conditions on Friday, after opening with a 66 Thursday.

He began his third round at -3.

The 1992 champion trying to stay in contention for Sunday.

Familiar names. Phil Mickelson. Tiger Woods. They're both just two off the lead.

A pair of Englishmen and Ryder Cup teammates, Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood, are gunning for that elusive first Major title.

They're the co-leaders at 8-under.

Phil's record at the Masters is amazing

1995 - T7
1996 - 3
1999 - T6
2000 - T7
2001 - 3
2002 - 3
2003 - 3
2004 - 1
2005 - 10
2006 - 1
2008 - T5
2009 - 5

Two wins is very impressive but if you think about it, with a few breaks he could have five or six Green Jackets already.

It's interesting to me that there are so many patrons on the final holes.

I could see parking at one hole early in the tournament but I think I'd rather just walk and follow a lot of the contenders on Saturday and Sunday.

I lived in Phoenix for 5 years and went to the Phoenix open every year.

I've heard roars, but I don't think they compared to that. lol
