Yes he did utter, "Oh Tiger, Tiger" but he also continues to drop the F-bomb and a few "Geeeezus Chhhhhhhhhrist's" here and there just for kicks.ohiotiger33 wrote:I would like the F-bombs to go away as well. He did better today, saying his own name instead of swearing. I am sure it will take time.
If he wants to become more endearing and perhaps garner a bit more sympathy Tiger needs to get a handle on his emotions. The PGA tour is also about demonstrating style, class, and professionalism. I was tired of Tiger's club bashing, mouth, and attitude even before his personal situation came to light.
Tiger's an outstanding golfer and adds a degree of challenge to the game, but his on-going arrogance, temper, and narcissism aren't the only issues in his life that need work.
That being said the Masters was enjoyable to watch. I was happy to see Phil break through and take the Green Jacket. His embrace of his wife on the 18th was touching and should serve as an example to Tiger of how things SHOULD be.
I was happy to see Fred Couples hang tough and Choi's robot-like precision until the last 9 was almost scary to watch!
