Vaporizing is pretty damned popular and putting it in food works fine as long as you do something to get the THC dissolved in the food. Like putting it in melted/melting butter and cooking it for a minute. Then use that butter for your baking needs.gut wrote:My argument does not fail. All those things you mentioned I have an issue with. Rather than rewrite all the laws, I'll just prefer not to add more to the list. In a perfect world, you are grouped by risk factors and charged accordingly. Hangovers are a built in component to alcohol that prevent most people from drinking excessively for many years, but I imagine people could roll a joint or two every night with no dehibilitating effects which would increase risks of related diseases. Like prescription pills, it's much easier to self medicate with legalized pot.krazie45 wrote: Again, you are assuming people are smoking it and therefore harming their health over a long period of time. However, once again, you simply ignore that fact that when vaporized or ingested there are pretty much no adverse health effects.
But even then your argument topples like a house of cards. What if I said that I'm sick of my tax dollars going to treat alcoholics with liver disease? Alcohol should be illegal! Or if I was sick of my tax dollars paying for fat people that get heart attacks? Fatty foods should be illegal! Or that cigarette smokers are taking my tax dollars with their lung cancer? Tobacco should be illegal!
And your vaporizing argument is lame. You know full well probably like 95% users smoke it the majority of the time. I don't know about vaporizing, but it takes more to get high from ingesting in food and most people won't spend that extra money.
Lets not rewrite any laws, that's too hard. And I thought pot smokers were supposed to be the unmotivated ones.

Who's trying to "rewrite" laws? It's repealing a law that was enacted 70 years ago which was backed by 70 year old science and 70 year old ideals.

smoking is still the most popular, cheapest, and quickest. vaporizers are expensive and the high from eating weed takes longer since it has to be digested.I Wear Pants wrote: Vaporizing is pretty damned popular and putting it in food works fine as long as you do something to get the THC dissolved in the food. Not exactly expensive.
Although I agree with you, smoking is the most popular and quickest. But perhaps people wouldn't hurry so damned much if they didn't feel like a swat team might bust in at any moment.

actually its not the best thing you can do, do some research. and even IF i did marijuana, "lighting it up" is the least effective way to do it.Bigdogg wrote:Glory,Glory Days wrote:kinda hypocritical if you ask me.krazie45 wrote:Because those are not comparable. Unfortunately plenty of people I know including Doctors have done the research, you my friend our too closed minded. Let me know how things work out for you if you do ever get into that situation. It is evident that nothing can change your mind (yet) so why do you have such a big problem with others who have a different opinion?Glory Days wrote:actually its not the best thing you can do, do some research. and even IF i did marijuana, "lighting it up" is the least effective way to do it.Bigdogg wrote:Glory,Glory Days wrote:kinda hypocritical if you ask me.krazie45 wrote:Because those are not comparable. i have already shown before in these threads there are snythetic THC drugs that are more effective than marijuana. smoking it is ineffective and you cant control doseage. even the AMA is on the fence saying more studies need to be done to support medical use and that if used, it should not be smoked. and changing my mind? let me know when marijuana actually does something. marijuana isnt some wonder drug.Bigdogg wrote:Unfortunately plenty of people I know including Doctors have done the research, you my friend our too closed minded.
