This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of and I'm totally ashamed that he is associated with the Browns. I will not stick up for him 1 bit. This isn't an honest mistake. It's a dumbass mistake.

These guys just don't get it. Steelers, Browns, Bengals, whatever team. It's actually kinda sad in a way. They're living the dream and they just shit on it.

What a dumb pud.

Agree 100%. You have one of the most desired lifestyles and you do something as retarded as carrying a gun into an airport? I wish these athletes and celebrities realized how lucky they really are.

^^
Pretty much how I feel. Too many people just think their status as an athlete apparently gives them license to do whatever they want with no consequences.

I personally think that when it comes to firearms they are mostly just ignorant of the laws and firearms safety.

That probably is true. They're rich and young...and many of them come from impoverished pasts, so for them, the concept of having protection is common sense.

And that's as far as their brain takes them...

How can you forget you have a gun in your bag???? LOL....no fucking way.

I would say trade him now, but his value just went down the shitter.

A guy texted Reghi, who wasn't sure if he (the texter) was a cop or a lawyer, and said this is a 4th degree(?) felony which carries a minimum of 6 to 18 months with a $5000 fine.

He's done as a Brown and probably done in the league, period.

I imagine he'll plead guilty to something lesser and only get a month or two at the most.

He should have pistol whipped the woman at the gate then stuck the gun inside her and maybe the Steelers would've offered him a contract.......

I don't know. Although Plaxico's gun went off he did time. With all of the security issues with 9/11, I could see them giving him time (and rightfully so).

Even by your standards, that was pretty weak. I mean, at least try!

Very true. That's the thing that may bite him.

Maybe you and Capone should meet in an alley somewhere and duke it out. Then maybe we will be spared of all of the fucking garbage that gets posted on here.

Burress was just NYC. Rogers has to deal with the Feds, they don't fuck around. He's screwed.

What an idiot...And there is no "accident" of bringing a loaded gun in an airport.

He is screwed, you just don't accidently forget about a loaded gun going into an airport.

They DO NOT take this shit lightly in the criminal justice world, jail time as the Feds will be looking into the matter.

Goodell will be forced to suspend him coming up just for sheer studpidity.

Unless he has the best excuse ever, Rogers will not be suiting up on opening day for the Browns.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that. His career could be done by the time jail time/suspension in completed.

That's what I was implying.

The Feds won't take it easy on him and you sure as hell know that Goodell will slap a 1 yr on him coming up.

Even IF someone were to "forget" a gun in a bag, why the hell would it be loaded? Was he planning on robbing a bank or something?
