Thanks...I don't know why these guys go through all the trouble of putting the graphics up but never mention the TV channel the game is on.

Why in God's name the Russian coach waited that long to pull Nabokov is beyond me. 3 of the goals were very soft and just inexcusable. 6-2 midway through the 2nd so still time for the high powered Russians but they need to get at least 1 more in the 2nd.

I'd say this was a very boring game, very lopsided. Russia laid a huge egg. 7-3 final

^^I thouht it was extremely exciting...until about midway through the 3rd period when Canada started to talke off the pressure and Russia was resigned to the fact they couldnt come back.

It was up and down the ice for the first 45+ minutes...very exciting.

Agreed. To come back from 4-1 deficit ya need to do something......give the team a shot in the arm...and many times changing a GT does that.

I missed this game due to work, I just got done watching the game about 30min ago. I must say that Russia is OVERATED, and I knew their defense wouldn't hold up against Canada's offense.

USA vs Canda for the Gold.

What I think hurt Russia is that they had way too many KHL players. I would've brought along Kalinin but thats about it. They left off Frolov, Kovalev, Zherdev (KHL), Anisimov, and Antropov.

Did those KHL players get to have any extra time together prior to the Olympics? Maybe they did and the powerst that be felt that would help them in playing together longer. I dont know.

Or maybe Russia just wanted to promote their league as superior to the NHL.

The two best russians in the KHL ar Kalinin and Morozov.

The KHL is on par with the AHL and thats saying something.
