Which one was the bigger steal? The Gasol trade from a couple of years ago, or this Jamison deal?

Feel free to list any other lopsided trades that may have been even worse.

Also, I probably should have held off on this since Miami may be able to really screw Phoenix now.

I agree, but the Cavs took on a heavy contract.

PHO may keep Amar'e.

Its easily the Cleveland deal since some of the pieces in the LAL turned out to be okay.

I mean, the #30 pick for Jamison? Please, WAS just bent over.

How about this, Ferry is amazing.

Shaq for Sasha/Wallace
Mo for Damon Jones (we got J. Smith back)
Jamison for #30

He should have warrants for armed robbery.

Jamison is nowhere near as good as Pau Gasol. And Washington made out ok with the trade. They got Al Thornton, cap relief, and a #1.

Let's let them play a few games first.

We all know how amazing the Pau deal was and is turning out.

But as far as just ON PAPER....Jamison for a pick is highway robbery.

Let's just say Twan flops and the Wiz get a stud in the draft...how great does the deal look then?? Obviously that is down the road.

And another thing.

Let's be honest, the Cavs gave up NOTHING and got 2 players. I know everyone loves Big Z, hell I do too; but he is nothing more than a back up in this league anymore. So you give up a pick(big deal IMO) and a back up and get back a very, very good PF and another PG.

The trade that built that 1990s Cowboys should be included, I think it was for H. Walker or something

The Gasol trade was a bigger heist for the Lakers, because Gasol was a 7 footer and only 27 years old at the time of the trade. Jamison will be 34 in June, and is on the downside.

The Gasol trade changed the long term balance of power more than the Jamison one will.

Both were complete steals though to say the least.
