I always thought it was ironic that Hasek finally got his Cup playing alongside Brett Hull. Sigh, the life of a Buffalo Sabres fan.....

BTW, that North Stars shirt is pretty badass....

US needs to play better and limit the mistakes they made today. Hopefully, they work out some of the problems against Norway so they are better prepared against Canada on Sunday.

The US have a shot at beating the Russians if they meet. Russia is a jauggernaut offensively but, their defense is horrible. Dear lord, Latvia, yes Latvia had 12 scoring chances againt them. Their D is terrible outside of Gonchar and Markov.

The US is very capable of winning this tournament, especially if they get great goaltending. I would say they have a very good defense and a very good hitting team. To say they won't compete is crazy.

By the time Sunday night comes around they will hopefully show a liitle more coherence, reduce turnovers and i could see them making it a game. If for no other reason than b/c it will be like a rivalry game, plus we've got that youthful naivity thing going on, maybe....
