I think DII will work itself out for Olentangy. Although they have a limited number of guys in this line-up, I have a feeling the District Tournament pairings will suit them fine.

Looks like a ton of good matches to get the season started. There is a couple match-ups I can't wait to see.

Mat shark... When asked that question, jack kruse said that date should have been for the week, per Hank... I'm assuming that means zaborniak.

Any matches anyone's looking forward to see? I'm thinking at 119, A Disabato (HD) vs. T. Heminger (NM) looks interesting.

This is certainly atop my list. There are some others.

For me, though, the night is about getting back into the gym with hundreds, if not thousands, of screaming fans, watching a little high school rasslin'!

Anyone want to make any predictions on how the D1/D2&D3 results will come out?

I'll take a wild stab and predict D1 with 27 wins and D2/D3 with 15

so let me get this straight...

jack says that hank says the written and published rules can be disregarded, and a entire gaggle of cetral ohio coaches just go along with it? :huh:

and none of these lemming coaches check with hank, or anyone at the OHSAA?

and no one bothers to publish that there has been a change in the date previews can start so other districts can move theirs up?

maybe jack, hank or these coaches should be the ones asking what a career in typewriter maintenance pays.

I believe your point to be a valid one. I was just letting you know what was relayed to me.

I'd say the shame would be if the wrestlers that are involved get punished or ruled ineligible for any post season wrestling due to the alledged infraction! Would the OHSAA do that???

I asked Jack Kruse how we were able to hold a preview on the 24th, three days prior to that which the OHSAA website says is the first day to hold a preview (Nov. 27). His answer, straight from the email...

"Mark,

I have talked to Hank before about that. It should be the entire week of the Preview week, especially with wrestling and Thanksgiving.
He understands that we can not a Fri or Sat very well and has always allowed the Tues event.

Do I believe the OHSAA will rule the wrestlers ineligible if they wrestle... WHO KNOWS with that bunch??? It would all depend on how the coin landed, I suppose.

OHSAA is notorious for changing their minds...look at the SWSD...you can't go, oh...okay, you can go, but cannot come back unless you sit a year....ooopps, you can go, then you can comeback without sitting out if you comeback right now...who knows where this one will end.

I'm really happy for the kids in SWSD. I would would hope if any other district abuses their kids that way OHSAA has the good sense to to repeat this decision.

Okay! Now we're talking. Take the weekend to think about it. Then, on either Monday or Tuesday night, give YOUR results. I might even give you until Wednesday, but that's just becuase I know you are a devoted dad as well.
