I know its probably a far cry from happening, but what's all your opinions? It sounds as if SD will release him between March 1-4 as he is do a 2 or 3 million $ bonus. At the age of 31, I believe he as a couple of years left. I would be all for it on maybe a 1-2 year deal. What you say??

He would be a good fit as a 3rd down back now.....not in Cleveland though. He would fit a team that is more of a playoff bound team, not a team in transition.

I'm thinking maybe New England will be the perfect fit.

That seems to be the destination for guys at the tail end of their career. Also, as much as everyone bitches about Bill B....all his former players love him.

No.

Wrong side of 30.

LT is THROUGH and has been for awhile now. When running backs lose it---THEYRE DONE FOR GOOD.

The Browns should be getting younger, not older.

You heard it here first. L.T. will be in a Steelers uniform next season.

LT lost it a while ago. He went from the top to near the bottom incredibly quickly.

31 is ancient for a RB. I think Jamal Lewis is 31 as well...

I think LT is done as an every down back. Maybe a couple more years as a 3rd down back, but that's about it.

No Tomlinson in Cleveland.

To me it seems like LT was finished a year and a half ago.

Great regular season player, but the guy disappears in the playoffs. One of the first things I think of when I hear LT's name is him sitting on the bench in playoff games pouting

Lets see. Thats Mcnabb, Marshall, and now L.T. that you brown fans are hoping to come to Cleveland. The dirty secret is that no veteran wants to go to a losing organization like da browns. Just stick to the draft and maybe things will work out for you. But I doubt it.

No. I'd rather keep having Moore as our third down back. Same potential (at this stage) for production and no worries about ego coming into play due to being a part-timer.

As for Cleveland, I'd think their fans would HOPE that after having Jamal Lewis (another aging back they signed) grind out the end of his career as a malcontent because Mangini didn't cater to how he wanted to be treated...that the team wouldn't go after another past-his-prime back with a "former superstar" reputation.

My guess is that Tomlinson would want to go "home" at this point in his career. Many players like to end their careers that way. It also helps when the "home" team is a playoff contender. That means he will likely be playing for the Dallas Cowboys next season.

I agree he has but a few years left so with that in mind I believe he will go to a team that has a chance at not only making the playoffs but going to the Super Bowl.

yeah, he'd be a good fit for the browns, but I don't think the browns are a good fit for him.

Jim Brown and him have a great relationship, and it would be fitting to end his carrer on Jim Brown's former team, but I think he ends up in Texas, but not as a cowby, but as a Texan
