The announcers let us know about 5 times yesterday how Favre grew up a Saints fan and all his family / neighbors are Saints fan. Did he sub-consciously throw the INT to give NO another chance? I am being absolutely serious here...the sub-consious is very powerful especially in stressfull decision making moments. Explain otherwise how a QB with that kind of experience and skill throws such a stupid pass in that situation.

No I don't think he threw it on purpose.

On a sidenote: The announcers for both games sucked yesterday. makes me not really want to watch the Super Bowl.

Dumbass thread...why in the F'n Universe could you possibly care who won this game? Your job behind a desk in a dark room in no way shape or form is impacted by acquiring this knowledge tiernan. That said the Saints / Vikes game was great football and your still a douche.

No, the Saints putting pressure on Favre, hitting him all night, and a few late hits finally paid off for them. They got in the old man's head and forced him to throw rather than tuck it and run.

He's kind of known as someone who will make incredible plays, and make just as incredible blunders. Have you ever seen him play before?

Dumbass.

Well we all know the thread is dumb, but I do have a question. Does anybody else think Rice could have given a better effort coming back to the ball? I'm not saying it wasn't a carless theough, but it looked like if Rice attempted to come back even a little there wouldn't have been an interception.

buncha Favre Fan Boys top to bottom. Do you all have chapped lips?

Yes he's thrown stupid picks before but never one of that magnitude. He keeps the ball picks up 5 - 6 yds and Vikes kick easy FG for the win. Even he is probably questioning whether he sub-consciously threw it on purpose.

lol, are you serious?

"sub-consciously" threw a pick on purpose? I'm pretty sure he cares more about the Super Bowl than he does the Saints.

Maybe because Adrian Peterson went to Oklahoma and since Drew Brees grew up in the state next to it, he subconsciously fumbled a bunch...dumbass.

Yeah, because he hadn't been beat up all game and had vicious body slams, late hits and low blows all game. I am sure what he was subconsciously thinking was that he didn't want to get hit again, forcing a pass.

I was SMH @ this thread. No way Brett Favre threw that pick on purpose or "sub-consciously" on purpose.

Is this a serious question?? No, Brett Favre did not intentionally throw an INT! Any competitor out there knows that he/she would never help the other team out especially by just throwing a pick in the NFC title game.. Come on, really??

Wow, this is without question the dumbest thread ever. I really hope that the OP was just trolling and not being serious, because otherwise, I have to seriously question whether the OP could even recognize what a football even looks like.
