I have experienced your problem and I bit the bullet and sent back to sony(with expired warranty) and paid the $150 and they sent me a refurbished unit back!!!!!

I really don't want to do that. Haven't been able to work since my accident, so I don't have $150 to send to Sony. I found a Youtube video that has gotten a lot of positive responses, so if it's not working tomorrow, I'm going to try the video. I'm AirForceBuck (Wisconsin) on the dynasty. I'll let you know tomorrow what I'm going to do about the PS3. If I can't get it fixed in a timely manner, I understand being removed from the dynasty.

I have to find a heating gun in order to fix it. I have a couple people saying they'll ask around, so hopefully by the end of the week I'll have it back. Surely this is no reason to halt Smitty from winning the National Championship. Just have to put an * next to it ;) J/k! I'll keep you all posted.

Chicagochef has some openings in his dynasty. Its a good group of players. 3 guys just left the dynasty last week some need some players in it. The rule was you had to pick a team that had no A's in their rankings before the start of season 1. So its basically 2nd tier BCS schools. No Ohio State, Florida, USC. I'm Oregon State. There is Nebraska, Notre Dame, Pitt, Miami type teams. The guys who just left were Northwestern, Michigan State and Arizona State.
