West Jeff had several wrestlers out. Branham, Reichle, Blackwell. Much like Marysville, some injured at the state duals.

The officiating at this tournament was horrible.

I saw a illegal slam not called for a Dover wrestler. Then it was called in another match when it wasn't a slam.

I saw stalling not being called when it should have been and called at absurd times.

Top Gun, Top notch tournament - GET QUALITY OFFICIALS!!

Here's the worst part. I saw the Dover Coach question the official on the slam not being called. The official became irate, sent the coach on his way and went to the middle of the gym to hangout with his zebra buddys to have a good laugh about it.

By the way, the Dover wrestler suffered a season ending concussion and seperated shoulder and the ref said nothing was illegal.

Who was the ref on mat 1 most of the first day that had red hair? He shouldn't even be allowed to officiate novice!

Mitch over Brascetta in the finals.
Wish I could be there to watch Martinez and Armstrong! No Idea how this will play out as I have not seen Armstrong this year.
1 out of 2
Really thought Mitch would get him.

Mitch probably should have won that match, in my opinion he needs to control the match by going more uptempo. He seems to let Berchetta control the pace and grind out wins.

189lb 9th grader! Gonna be a great young MAN, to watch the next 4 years.
I am thinking Mitch will beat him when it counts more. I have seen this happen many times. I don't get to see Tuck and Felipe wrestle very often, but when I have had the chance to watch Felipe wrestle, he is lights out!

In my opinion Felipe will not lose to Armstrong, from what I saw at Top Gun. Felipe is the real deal. I was also impressed with Newhouse from Perry at 112. Mitch willl win if he stays quick on his feet, the takedown he had on Breschetta was impressive. His quickness was amazing to me.

There is a younger Newhouse that is a hammer as well! I really like watching these guys(Tayse, Newhouse etc. )Go from the biddy through jr. High into high school. You know when they are young that if they staick with it , that they will be hammers in High School. Wish I could have gone to the tourney this year! Julous font on!
