Edie Falco is a queen, and I had no idea Josh Charles and Sam Jaeger were going to be in it, so that was a pleasant surprise.
How is the true crime? Was always a fan of the original and SVU, crush on mariska, but hated crimina, intent.

Got through 3 seasons of Ed from avout 15 years ago. Saving the last 13 eps for when I am traveling. Other than that no t.v. shows are on my radar.

We like it. I'm pretty familiar with the case, so it's not really showing me anything I didn't know, but it's good.

I watched Mindhunter on Netflix over the weekend and really enjoyed it.

It's the Menedez brother's case. Hence the name...Law & Order True Crime: The Menedez Murders.

Ah. Gotcha. Didn't know the full title. Haven't really watched tv since January so I'm a little out of the loop.

Just found out today that Amazon is developing a Ringworld series, based off the book series of the same name by Larry Niven. I've only read the first of 9 books, but I really enjoyed it and think it could make a great television series.

Lena Dunham crept into AHS.
She did do a fine representation of some of her own aspects, though.

Fun little tidbit: A friend of mine from college just made her primetime television debut on this past week's episode of Blue Bloods. She was the apartment tenant who the detectives interviewed as she was in her doorway.

I believe she'll also be in an episode of Mr. Robot in the upcoming season.

Cool! So your not counting her on screen debut on casting couch?

LOL Hey now.

In all seriousness, she's spent some time playing Belle in the Off-Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast, but to my knowledge, this is the first time she's been on television.

I've never read the books but read about the books after this post. Seems like it could make a good series. You say Book 1 is worthwhile?

Finished S1 last night as well. First 6 eps or so were amazing, really disappointed in the direction of the show towards the end. The series was interesting enough without making Holden to be a fucking asshat. Prob won't watch S2 due to that.

House of Cards will end after season 6, in light of the 30ish year old allegations against Kevin Spacey.

This is an overreaction by everyone involved. NOT SAYING what Kevin Spacey may have done is ok or right, but to end a show that employs 100s of people is a little over the top...IMO.
