She certainly is. I said at the end of last season that she'll have a solid shot at getting out this coming season if she gets back down to 106, and continues to improve- which seems to be the case. I am fairly positive last season was at least her 2nd season wrestling.

Great night. Thanks to Marysville for hosting.

It was disappointing that some of the headliners who were on the line-up card didn't wrestle, not to mention those who opted out completely, but this is more about the kids who DID participate than those who didn't.

I was most impressed with the following (in no particular order):

Josh Doherty (West Jeff)

Jake Martinez (Licking Valley)

Autumn Gordon (Lancaster)...when did Helen Maroulis drop to 106 and sneak into a Gales singlet? Wow!


I also really liked the LA Kelly kid from Licking Heights at 195. I love me a thrower and he had it going on. Josiah Harrell looked great at 182 also. Seems like he has fully bounced back from the injuries that slowed him down last year. With Harrell and Kelly at 82 and 95, the Hornets are going to be fun to watch.

I have from 132 (I think) up to 285 #1s and will post tomorrow at some point. Hopefully soon enough that family members can gather around to watch little Billy wrestle a match.

It was great to see LA Kelley back on the mat after missing last year with injuries. Doherty looked good, will he stay at 160 ?
