Just saw that Ana Abduljalil won the title at 113 in D2. If you have never met him he is one of the nicest and most respectful kids you will come across. He always has a smile on his face and has endured a tough injury to get to the top.
Congrats from your friends at Licking Heights!

I remember seeing him as a freshman with that sick ankle pick and instantly telling others that he was my favorite Ram wrestler. Agree on him being a great young man!
Congrats on a much deserved title!! : thumbup:

He was one of the most impressive wrestlers in the whole tournament this weekend. Congrats to a great kid and a great group of coaches.

He's been one of my favorites for a long time. Seems like he has been around forever . Glad he capped his career off with a title. Well done.

Ana won with a fracture in his back. True ironman right there, he told Brakan the other day that he was hoping it was healed but he can feel the fracture and this was gonna be the most painful four matches in his life! Great young man and one of my favorites for sure! Very serious injury to be able to still be moving let alone winning titles. Really hope he can go on to college and wrestle, but a healthy future will have to be his priority.
