I just think it's hilarious that he said repeatedly that he had no trouble with the flag's removal, but seemed to be providing more of a "devil's advocate" viewpoint concerning it and its image.

Which means he essentially melted down over an argument where he was, for all intents and purposes, arguing for the purpose of having an argument.

I got this far before the hilarity of it all became too much.
Responding to the removal of the Confederate flag in states across the country, Webb said: “The Confederate Battle Flag has wrongly been used for racist and other purposes in recent decades. It should not be used in any way as a political symbol that divides us.”
Except for how, you know, that flag's original purpose was to be a political symbol of the south's attempt to divide the United States into two countries.

The flag is a symbol of treason as well as a symbol of racism. Not to mention they lost. If that is a heritage you want to celebrate, good for you.

It obviously won't do anything to solve or cure racism.
