Regardless of the outcome of this series, true Cleveland fans (through and through) have to be pleased with this season, no? I root for the Cavs, but I'm not going to call myself a Cleveland "fan," 1) to not dishonor true fans and 2) to not be a typical "fake fan." When the smoke settles, are things looking up? Was this season a blessing?
The fact we're in a game 6 with our roster is so far beyond a success of a season. If we had Love and Kyrie we could/should win. If we do manage to win, it will be the biggest upset in finals history, and there should never be any Jordan/Lebron talk again. Cleveland will be the odds on favorite to win next year. As long as everyone stays healthy, there's no reason why they shouldn't win. But the whole reason we're in a game 6 is not because the cavs are as good or better than Golden State, it's because Lebron has put up ridiculous numbers. Cavs should have been swept, really. If lebron has even just a good series, the cavs get swept. So, yeah, the fact that they're in a game 6 is a great success.
