Will we see any shuffling at 170 and 145 at this sectional, both seem pretty deep.

Lakso took a week off of cutting and is going 13 for this dual. Hopefully Norris can bump up too. Talked to CC coach and there is a good chance this will still go even though school is out again.

Cruiser... the inside the circle site is not allow us in... says they have used up all of their band width for the month. Is there another place for UA brackets? They aren't on Baums either and I'm more than a little rusty at finding all things wrestling. Thanks,

Pretty pathetic!
maybe they should love their right to host a sectional since they can't even get the results in a full day + later!?!?

Are the results instantly supported to baums page software or something, I mean the district brackets were spit out immediately meaning that software had all the results? must be the host responsibility to post to the actual website? I noticed watkins had to do it by hand onto their personal website? Im confused, it should all be real time live input as they happen. What did Marysville do that the other host need to LEARN to do?

We should hang them up by their thumbs until they give RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean come on. Why is UA the only one not giving info? We had the same issue with the madison plains sectional just getting brackets.

The only thing I can say is that it is the 1st year UA has hosted a sectional and we went through the same thing our 1st year. The tournament software associated with Baumspage is not user friendly. We are lucky enough at Marysville to have the same crew working the head table for the last 4 years so they have some experience. Also our school just improved the wifi in the gym making it easier to update during the tournament rather than taking the laptop in another room and re-connecting. It takes a lot of volunteer effort to host and run a sectional so I guess I am willing to give them a break.

Yep, experience is certainly key. I thought Marysville ran a very very good event, with my only complaint being that there seemed to be some difficulties with those scoring the bouts. One bout I know of was scored on a different bout sheet, and there was a delay getting that corrected, and there were a lot of stops in action to correct scoring. That being said, in the end, it was all corrected, and the tourney moved fast. The mats kept moving, the announcements were timely and clear, the pre-sales of finals tickets and the method of clearing the gym before finals (ticket holders to Field House, non-ticket holders to auditorium) made that turnover go very quickly. Well Done!!!

However, results were sent to the District early Sat night, as well as to the Dispatch. How much more effort would it have been to send to Baum's Page as well?

Agreed. I think Monarchpride is being very gracious and it does indeed take experience to pull these tournaments off. Howeever, it is not that difficult to save the final bracket to a PDF and post on it here even. If they can print them, they have them electronically. If they have them electronically, they can be saved and posted to the web or emailed to someone who can. It would be great to have them on Baums, but I'd settle for a PDF on Chatter.
