All over twitter. First reported by Joe Dunn of 1350 in Akron. I don't really know if I buy it, though. He is on the fast track to become the next president at UA with just being promoted to excecutive VP and Proenza stepping down in May.

With almost any other coach I'd say there's no chance they'd turn down a NFL HC job for university President job. But for some reason I feel like that would actually be a hard decision for Tress.

Yeah, before anybody says it, I'm in no way, shape, or form at saying the President at UA is better than being the Browns HC. I just truly believe he is done with coaching and accepting a job with the Browns is a pretty risky move, especially giving up what he has and probably will have. At least it appears some members of the Cleveland media aren't as gullible as the others.

Last tweet, George Thomas, is the ABJ beat writer for Akron. He doesn't buy it for a second, and is more "in the know" than anybody else reporting this.

It may very well be false, but I wouldn't trust anything coming from a Browns official.

I'm all for The Gas Station Attendant, Jimmy the Liar and Johnny Fuckup to all be there together next year...I'd have endless material as this would be a bigger implosion than an old Las Vegas hotel.
