The browns aren't getting hosed, they're being criminally fucked.

Hopefully Gordon's attorney he just hired knows what the fuck he is doing.

I'd think he does. He got Richard Sherman off on a technicality.

The league knows Gordon's position and I fully believe the league is looking for a way to settle this -- but need to save face, meaning Gordon must be suspended.

Gordon's camp feels he should not be suspended, but are realistic that serving a light suspension may be the simplest course.

LA

So basically the league lost and they are afraid to look dumb :(.

As was mentioned in a previous post, I think the league is trying to "save face" by announcing the stiffer penalties for domestic violence (Ray Rice), from now going forward, so they can drop a harsher penalty on Gordon. I get that but do they REALLY have to wait until the 3rd preseason game so he's fucked for next year's preseason too?

That's what's pissing me off about this whole thing. Yes, he broke the rules and if he did he deserves to serve his time but WHY take so damn long?

He broke a rule that the Olympics wouldn't have punished him over. The nfl cares way too much about pot when it has bigger things to worry about.

Give him a talk, let him go (considering he passed 70 tests and you can't punish him for who he hangs out with or what he does on his days off) and move on.

Wouldnt he still be alllowed to play next preseason if he was suspended? Seems most times guys under suspension are allowed to participate in the preseason.

With that said, the NFL is fucking this up BIG TIME. I still think though he gets a reduced sentence and all of this extra time is just to fuck with him.

Based on the case he presented, and the fact there are reports about the NFL trying to save face because they are wrong, he deserves to serve ZERO days. If they NFL suspends him just because they don't want to look bad, I would take this to court easily. They can't get away with that bullshit.

If they give him the indefinite suspension, he has to wait one calendar year to apply to be reinstated. He would miss all off-season workouts, camp, and preseason games up to the point of whenever the suspension would start.

Pettine has totally bungled the QB situation.

He should have just named Hoyer the starter instead of going with the sham "competition" he has been running. It's been exposed as a joke, and now he looks like a rat for misleading everyone when the "decision" on the QB has been in the can since the minute he took the job.

If you knew you were going to start Hoyer the entire time no matter what, why go through the motions like this and give players a reason to question how genuine you really are when you tell them something.

There has been allegations that Pettine was a rat in 2012 leaking info to reporters about Rex when he was with the Jets, and now he runs a fake QB competition that has been about as legitimate as a Baghdad Bob press conference.

If I were a player right now I wouldn't trust a word this guy says because he's a fraud and the evidence is growing bigger by the day.

Pettine has a major league hard-on for the guy for some reason. I've been saying since day 1 that the competition was a sham because Pettine has a man crush on Hoyer.

Call in guys on the Fan keep harping on Manziel locking in on his primary receiver, and then prematurely taking off. LMAO. J. Football did what J. Football does. He threw perfect passes all night and ran for first downs when the sieve offensive line broke down.

Hello footwedge. You were talking shit about hoyer and manziel and still haven't set something up. If 100 is too much for you we could always do 50? Like I've said before the ball is In your court. You've talked shit, I've responded, you've changed the topic.

lo-f*cking-l at failwedge. talks sh*t, talks more sh*t about backing that previous sh*t up, and now won't back it up. But I guess I can't say I'm surprised at the absurdity displayed by someone who doesn't even understand basic math.

Iggy and Footwedge are imbeciles, so don't waste your breath even trying to converse logically with either of them...it's an impossible task.
