Yeah I knew I spelled it wrong after I posted, but was too lazy to go back and edit it. It doen't matter. It was a stupid post and I made my point.

Personally, I think Ahmad Bradshaw should have won it this week.

Maybe its me, but rushing is more impressive than passing yards. Its a great day when a QB throws for 300 yards, let alone a RB rushing for 300 (ok he was 14 short). Do the math, Big Ben didnt even double a great do by a QB while Harrison almost tripled and is 3rd all time (not 5th to original poster).

Not to mention if Cribbs doesnt return to kicks Harrison is looking at 300+ easy.

Sorry, but this is a stupid argument when we're talking about a player of the week honor.

I don't care WHO he was playing against. Look at the company he has in the top 5 rushing games of all time. It's not like anyone can go out there and collect 280 yards against a team anytime they want.

He deserved the award based on what he did. Period.

It doesn't matter who the defense was, fact is, nobody else this year has put up 286 yards on the Chiefs..

Also, Jerome Harrison scored the game winning TD, so the Big Ben argument is nullified.

This was robbery.

The fact is the people that vote for this award dont give a damn about the shithole organization
that is the Browns or its second rate players.

Yeah, the best running back ever remark I made was a little much but I based it on the praise he was getting on the game thread. Anyways I acknowledge that rushing for 286 yards is a feat against anyone but Ben also deserved the award and if you look at my avatar you will see I would have a hard time admitting anything good about the Steelers.

I guess we can only agree in the politics arena lol.

I may be biased, because I feel that Harrison should have won it, but Big Ben did have a hell of a game. He did have over 10 YPA along with 500+ yards. The NFL record for single game passing is 541 set by Norm Van Brocklin in '51. To come close to a record back in the 50's is a very big feat as well.

Both deserved it equally. We should only really be upset if a QB that threw for 4 TD's and 350+ yards won it over JH.

Both were top ten all time performances in the particular categories (Ben was 10th, Jerome 5th). The difference is that Ben's was against a good team, he through the winning pass in dramatic last second fashion, and he pretty much got the Steelers back into the playoff picture by himself (Wallace helped too).

Where is this 5th all time coming from. NO WHERE I look is he less than 3rd behind Lewis and AP.

Ok, thanks. Thats the second poster on this thread (unless it was the same one twice, too lazy to look it up) that said 5th. I just thought I was missing something.

It's threw, not through.......and and it was the 3rd best all time rushing performance, not the 5th.
