Dad4sports - has Jenkins (canal) made 103 yet this year? He looked big the last time I saw him, and when him and Price (LH) square-off, it should be one to watch.
How is Conrad doing with his recovery? If I heard correctly, he should be about ready to compete. I'm looking forward to seeing him do battle this season also.

I don't know why Jenkins continues to be listed.....he did not come out for wrestling this year.

Conrad Rosch returns to practice today on a limited basis. He will not be able to wrestle at Medina which I know is a great disappoint for him. He expects to be cleared to wrestle the Indians next event after the MIT...Marion-Elgin Tournament (Jan 15 & 16). IMO, it won't take him long to get back to speed....it seems longer, but basically he's only missed a little more than a month. With all the countless hours he spends on the mat in the off-season, one month shouldn't hurt him too much...

Perhaps they are waiting until after the Holiday tourneys, like Cruiser?

Cthelites... Early rankings make for illegitmate rankings, making for a less credible source over time.

Consider the above posts... A wrestler who did not even come out for wrestling is ranked!?!?!?! Sound bad to you? Now what happens when this ranker puts out that Kid X is #2. What is stopping the truly informed fan from stating, "Yeah, sort of like the kid who's NOT wrestling this year being top three."

Kirk Herbstreit said it best... When you do pre-season and pre-result rankings, it truly does does muddy the water for those who seek to rate talent based on talent.

I'll get individual results towards the beginning of next year. Trust me. Just waiting for the Holiday tournaments to filter some more.

I realize that but when you see both D2 and D3 for the past couple of weeks it just makes you want to see D1 even more lol.

Well that great to here, because I keep looking at these names thinking, "At some point I have to pull the trigger!"

I'll say this... I can only put top 3 in the Dispatch but I would like to have some bubble guys, honorable mentions or guys in the hunt type of thing for this site. I've thought about teirs but so often, one group bleeds into the next, so I'll just list some extra guys that will make things interesting.

Cthelites: In honor of your desires, I would like you (and everyone else) to take a look at the 119 weight class. Not for help, but just to look at why top 3 can be an injustice to these hard working student athletes...

Names like...

McDougle (GL)
Swavely (GC)
DiSabato (HDav)
Boyd (MF) - if he doesn't drop
Forrider (M)
Hunter (PC)
Will (PN)
Nace (TV)
Kunzi (WM)

That's 9 deep and I haven't even gotten full line-ups for about 17 of the area high schools!!! NOT TOO MENTINO THE SW SECTIONAL!!!!!!!!!

It's going to be good, Cthelites... and it'll all be worth it. But just remember... If you don't expect too much, you won't be too let down! ;)

Are you crazy!?!?!?! Besides, that's not what I was looking for - someone to rank them for me. I was just commenting that top 3 is for the Dispatch; top 5 or 7 are for freehuddle.com.

how do you know that?

is this another case of ranking a kid who has no results for this year and who has yet to wrestle?
didn't we have this discussion already?
do i need to say "B-O-G-U-S" again?

I'll defer to the expert(you!) Cruiser. lol!
I still can't find that many individual results anywhere.
About the only ones I know of are Darbys and Canal's (thanks to Dad4)
and a few other that get posted. It is pretty frustrating in the internet age that ALL(not just the team) the results don't get posted somewhere???

So, here is my suggestion....following the Troy Christian tournament, I approached the Tournament Director (or at least the dude that appeared to in charge of things) and said, "what are you going to do with these pool sheets now that the tournament is over? If your just going to toss them, then I would like to take them and post'em on the internet because people LOVE to read the results." He said, "sounds good to me, here you go!" (By the way...prior to the tournament (the "scouting the competition" phase) I couldn't find SQUAT about previous years Troy Christian tournaments.

Maybe it isn't always that easy and obviously it isn't always necessary since many tournaments (Ironman, Brecksville, MIT, James Horne, etc...) have on line brackets, but for those that don't, I would suggest trying to take matters into your own hands. We will all appreciate the effort.
