Agree with this. I think 126 will see some major changes come sectionals. Right now, it's way weaker than 132 and 120 in terms of depth.

I agree.... I think we will see 2 or 3 kids shift up or down to be at 126. 120 and 132 and 138 are pretty loaded.

Wonder what 38s might cut down for a better shot at the Schott? as has been said on here many times, pretty solid group of top four or five wrestlers at that weight.

Could be wrong, but I don't see any 138 pounders cutting to 126...

No but I heard a rumor Bobby Smith was dropping to 126. Probably just hear say.

lol i meant 38 to 32, and Smith might make 38 but i don't think 26 is in the cards lol!!

he has been weighing in at like 137 138 anyways. I think he could drop. He is eligible by alpha weights i do believe. Anyone confirm?

That's what I thought. I honestly don't think he will drop, but I have heard on multiple occasions from pretty reliable sources that he has been thinking about it.

26 is too much, but he would be a force at 32 -- at 38 he takes the fourth spot at best, IMO

I have heard that the reason he cant go to 138 is because Lawler is a senior and worked his butt off this summer so Coach DiSabato told Bobby he couldn't drop to 138 and 132 is wilson spot. Just some water cooler chatter I have heard!

according to trackwrestling, lawyer can also go 26, although wilson's min is 32... again, assuming the weights on trackwrestling are true alpha weights -- not sure if they are...

at the beggining of the season when i saw bobby at 145 i was shocked but assumed this was the reason why!

And about smith going 126 i wouldnt rule it out, i heard his cut freshman year to 103 was TERRIBLE, so it seems like hes used to dropping some pounds.

Bobby is as disciplined as any wrestler - question is can his weight management plan, at this date, allow him to get to 126 by sectionals?
