Immensely would seem to imply that he wasn't that good in Buffalo. That's not the case. You're talking about 4.0 ypc in BUF vs 4.4 in SEA.
My point isn't that Lynch hasn't improved, my point is that his trade value hasn't suddenly gone from 4th and conditional 6th all the way up the 1st, especially 3 years later.
I don't think you're going to see teams drop a 1st for a running back who has maybe at most 2 more "elite" years left unless they're a unique situation where they have a stockpile of picks and are willing to part with one of the most valuable commodities in the league, a 1st rounder.
This is not meant to be condescending at all, because I'm only trying to root out the source of our disagreement: it seems to me, in this situation, you're not properly separating a player's skill level from their trade value, which takes into account so many factors besides just skill level. Lynch's skill >>>> his trade value.
